BlizzCon: An Event for Fans was filmed, directed, produced, and edited by me. This project wouldn’t have been possible without the help and cooperation from my former guildmates Matt and Chris, along with Lorraine finding the time to sit down and answer my questions.

I figured I should take advantage of my trip to BlizzCon by creating a short documentary of the event itself. I suppose the main purpose of this decision was to challenge myself, prepare for some documentary film classes (as well as a few other Journalistic Electronic Media classes), and update my digital portfolio. In total, the project took 2 days to film and 8 days to edit.

It’s too bad there are so many gloom and doom 2012 websites that know nothing about the Mayan calendar.
Here are the facts:

There are no Mayan prophecies in the Cjilam Balam, the Dresden codices or the Popol Vuh that state 2012 will be a cataclysmic event.

There are other calendars with the same end date, such as the Hopi, Aztec, Egyptian and Hindu calendars. Even the I-Ching has a 12-21-2012 correlation!

EVENT ID: 30203 – This is the official video for the Thrill The World event for Ayr, Scotland which took place on October 25th 1.30am 2009. I am Suzie, the event manager and organiser for this event (I’m the one dressed as Michael Jackson!!) We officially had (after 3 head counts) 39 zombie dancers (including myself as Michael) and it was absolutely brilliant! We’ve so far raised around £600 for Cancer Research UK, and there is more sponsorship money to come! So, sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy Ayr helping THRILL THE WORLD 2009!!!
