      I believe him, its …
I believe him, its not like he just did it randomly one day and happened to get it right, he has methods! I have faith in his abilities.

      Well no shit. Do …
Well no shit. Do you think people can really saw people in half without harm to them? It’s called MAGIC. Enjoy it or stfu.

    3. jimoosh Says:

      just to prove that …
just to prove that he actually could do it…but he obv couldnt!!

    4. snipersimon Says:

the tv takes a wile …
the tv takes a wile to warm up, some TV’s do that mine use to

      its fake fake fake

    7. WomenAreDumb Says:

      hes frozen one half …
hes frozen one half of the screen to change the balls

    8. stupidboydav Says:

      constant camera …
constant camera shaking was because the camera was being held on the cameramans shoulder, you can see this around the start,

    9. sam10930 Says:

      why not by the …
why not by the ticket… that would prove it.
wouldnt predicting the lottery being telling you the numbers before the lottery and not after.

what is good is he has managed to get people to desccribe it has predicting the lottery haha

    10. tsunamitastic Says:

      Why does the sound …
Why does the sound of the lottery start and finish before/after the video appears?

    11. mcgigglish Says:

      The great thing …
The great thing about DB is that he’s got this confessional side. He wants to tell us it’s not magic; he’s not a wizard.

Amusingly, it gets mixed up with bulls**t explanations. So you never know where you stand, if his explanations are true or just more misdirection.

Part of his way of keeping us on our toes. Must be great fun for him, I must say!

    12. TerielAtmano Says:

      They are filmed at …
They are filmed at the same time. Many many people confirmed it. Even if you don’t find the confirmations yourself, consider how easy it would have been to prove that the filming times were different, how much reputation Derren would lose if he did that, and therefore, how likely it is he would do it.

    13. delllbooy Says:

      Just as he is …
Just as he is repeating back the numbers, between 23 and 28 the camera wobbles, moves slightly to the left (like the two split pictures are being aligned) and then the camera sticks as the whole live feed is restored. At that moment the number 39 ball (far left) definately moves up. Well that’s what I can see anyway. Also the way he says “the bonus ball doesn’t matter” sounds like he is saying it to somebody near him or instructing somebody and not like he is saying it to the audience.

    14. TerielAtmano Says:

      There are no legal …
There are no legal reasons not to show his nubers before bbc does. He’s making a prediction, and anyone’s free to make a prediction, even if they accidentally guess.

    15. scott7070 Says:

      This can either be …
      This can either be
      1) telling us the truth, that the predicted balls was pre filmed and merged with a live feed of him
      2) misdirection, planting this particular explanation in our head so we think its a camera trick

I think this shows he definately has considered a split screen effect: whether to misdirect us or to actually use???

    16. scott7070 Says:

      Actually, …
Actually, re-watching the clip he does suggest that the balls and the tv are filmed at different times:
1.09 “this prediction was m ade earlier on today” pointing at the stand+balls
2.18 “100%live, we are doing the same HERE” pointing to himself
2.48 “we are 100% live HERE” pointing to himself
everytime he mentions lottery draw/bbc being live, he points to the balls…

    17. scott7070 Says:

      I just get the …
I just get the feeling there’s something to do with the order he does everything in – why does he talk/walk etc backwards in the advert, it has no obvious link to anything but it he wouldnt film such a random advert if it wasnt worthwhile…

also, i think the whole explanation thing last week is to help with the ’stuck to my sofa’ trick tonight.

    18. rabone1234 Says:

      im on exactly the …
im on exactly the same wavelength as you its obviously not camera trickery hes going to explain more on the last event! wooo

    19. n00bcatcher Says:

      also might I just …
also might I just add that in the adverts he says “highly complex events of misdirection”

this means that he will be taking us several way and confusing us a lot with different theories and stuff. it’ll be clear, i’m sure in the end. he says there is a special twist in the last episode if you watch the video on the right with the red background.

    20. n00bcatcher Says:

      Yep, all the things …
Yep, all the things that make us think it’s a camera trick like the rising balls and stuff are just red herrings and people are set on it being a camera trick…which is the whole misdirection think. just see how much people are talking about him. I’m sure people will be either embarrassed or delighted when they find out it’s not actually a camera trick…he’s much cleverer than that. for god’s sake. he definately wouldn’t base one quater of a mini series on it.

    21. n00bcatcher Says:

      I think that’s …
I think that’s exactly what he means by events of misdirection, the rising ball, odd behaviour which suggest waiting for cues or looking for marks they could all be red herrings. I reckon the second camera was used to shoot things that he will show us right at the end of all the events to rove how it was done. people are so fixated on the camera trick idea they aren’t thinking of other ideas. I think we’re doing exactly what he expected and wanted us to do.

He’s a lot cleverer than people think

    22. holzisdawolf Says:

If it was a split …
If it was a split screen they could have put one or two wrong numbers down to make it more belivable

    23. paddymourinho Says:

      lol it better be!
      lol it better be!

    24. weavehole Says:

      The stupid!!

      It …
      The stupid!!

      It HURTS!

    25. paulg53 Says:

And even if it were …
And even if it were true he could have given the sum of his numbers to make it more convincing.
