  • How do you colour code events in the iPhone calendar?

Posted by admin on February 23rd, 2010 and filed under events calendar | 2 Comments »

I know you can colour code events from Google Calendar and Outlook/MobileMe and sync it that way but can you do it natively on the phone? If so how?

You aren’t able to do it on the phone itwelf, you have to do it first in outlook or google and sync it over. Same situation with photo albums.

Actually there is no way I know of that you can sync a google calendar and keep the color coding. Nueva Sync syncs Google calendars but as one calendar, not separate color coded ones.

If you use Mobile Me you can manually transfer all your Google calendar events to that and it will be color coded, as will be the calendar on your iPhone once you sync it with your Mobile Me calendar. If I recall correctly (I didn’t go past the trial on Mobile Me; too expensive), when you add events directly on your iPhone, and you’re using a Mobiel Me calendar, it’ll give you the option of which calendar to add the events to. For example, you want to add a dentist appt. directly from your phone. When you’re doing that, there is an option of which calendar to add it to, and you can pick whichever calendar of yours that you want (personal, appointments, whatever).
