The company I work for are holding an event in a few months to raise money for cancer among children. How do I go about getting a brand to sponsor the event?
Its best to just email/contact companies and for example say, We are doing this, will you help pretty much?
We could fund the event, but that would pretty much ruin the idea of doing the event, does that make sense?
First you need to contact the Nonprofit Charity, receive permission to use their name in raising the funds and operating the event. Once you have written permission you write to corporations and state who you are, what charity you are connected with, include a copy of the written permission and solicit their support or a donation.

what you need to do is advertise it . Like put a couple of signs around your town. If you want a sponsor you need to go up and ask them. You could also ask them if you could put up signs around there buisness because then you could mention them as a sponsor
