  • How do I create an event on iPhoto ‘09 that updates when I add photos to the original folder?

Posted by admin on March 7th, 2010 and filed under event | 1 Comment »

Is there a way to create an event so that whenever you add pictures to the folder in Finder they get put in that iPhoto event? Thanks!

Instead of adding pictures to the folder in finder, you should add them to the iPhoto library.

The iphoto library is not a shortcut to photos, so it will not work like this. iPhoto store’s another copy of the photos, so you can delete the folder from finder and the photos will all remain in iphoto, and you can keep adding them to iphoto.
