I am considering starting my own business. I am a business major in college and I am a junior, however, I am also 23 years old. I would like to do wedding and event planning. Know where I can get more info?

I would suggest working in the industry for 1 or 2 years first. I started my business straight out of college and made a lot of mistakes that I could have avoided had I worked in the field first.

   You should consider getting a job as an assistant to a wedding planner for a year or two to see what is involved in running this type of business. First hand info is the best info. This way you can find out if you really like or don’t like this type of work.
