I’ve got this project. We need to relate about 4-5 events from the Hindu mythology that can be related to modern science.

According to the John Adams movie what events convinced him to Join the Continental Congress. I know that he won the case of British soldiers but what do u think? Does anyone know about these events? Thanks.

I think it was the gradual realization that the British Parliament did not have the interests of her colonies at heart. Adams, Franklin, and quite a few of the others were royalists initially, but saw the gradual derogation of freedoms and rising tax rates mandated by acts of Parliament as directly effecting the future of the colonies.

I want to know what events were important in the movie Troy, and how they were important to history.

The movie has nothing to do with history.

The story of the siege of Troy in the Greek Epic Cycle of Poetry has NO definitive supporting basis in primary source documents or through archeology;the story must thus be taken as mere myth until such evidence (if it exists) is discovered.

The movie changes many of the events in the original story,and omits many characters – for example Achilles was killed long before the Wooden Horse ploy was used to capture the city,and where in the movie is Cassandra – a major character in the original story.

Michael Jordan was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 1983, the same year Jimmy V’s NC State team stunned Houston for the NCCA title.

At the beginning of the book, everybody believes that Boo is either a rumor or some strange evil kid that never comes out of his house. But then throughout the book, theres little incidents that Scout and Jem encounter that lead us to believe Boo is real, and may be friendly. Does anybody know three events (and quotes) that foreshadow this? The events can’t go past chapter 24. I need help! Thank you!
