Does The Staple cenetr sell tickets before an event?

Posted by admin on March 7th, 2010 and filed under event tickets | 2 Comments »

I was wondering whether The Staples Center in Los angeles hold 20% of an event tickets to be sold on the day of the event?….i’m just curious because i was able to purchase tickets to a concert ands the person at the box Office told me that they usually only sell 80% of tickets and hold the rest for the day of the event. and i was just wondering if they did that with all their events including Laker basketball tickets.

iv done it before, but it was a regular season game, so it wasnt a big deal to anyone, give it a shot.

What is the difference between scalping concert and sporting event tickets…..?

and allowing hundreds of people to to scalp Playstation 3’s and Nintendo Wii’s on eBay? (yes I know it is against the law to scalp tickets, and not against the law to scalp electronics … but this is a moral question…. ultimately you are causing the same effect from either….. you make the price of the item unfairly sky rocket)

    no idea. sorry!

Computer Programs to Print event tickets?

Posted by admin on March 1st, 2010 and filed under event tickets | 1 Comment »

I need a program to print event tickets (aprox 8 per sheet and they need to be numbered!) Any ideas?

Great Question! What software do you currently have loaded on your Computer? I started to try and figure it out then thought is might be easier to search the net. If you have MS Word this will do the trick:

How to surprise a girl with sporting event tickets?

Posted by admin on February 27th, 2010 and filed under event tickets | 1 Comment »

I bought Pittsburgh Penguins tickets for my girl and I want to know a good way to surprise her with them.

Mail them to her in a card, or give her flowers with the tickets inside…

What is the cheapest and best way to sell tickets to a Facebook Event. Tickets will be $65?

Posted by admin on February 25th, 2010 and filed under event tickets | 2 Comments »

I checked out the ticketleap application for facebook and it charges 10% of a ticket. Too high. I am hosting a high school reunion.

    Use paypal.

For a $65 ticket the fee would be $2.19

    http://www.rolbe.com/paypal.htm

But you’d have to paste in some HTML code. It’s not hard though! The payment would be sent to you instantly but you’d have to organise the delivery and production of tickets. If it’s just a high school reunion then I don’t think forgeries are going to be a problem lol so I’d say paypal is the way to go.

How can I cheaply frame a pic and some sporting event tickets to make them look nice affordable?

Posted by admin on February 23rd, 2010 and filed under event tickets | 2 Comments »

We went to the Red Sox Yankees game and Yankee Stadium over the summer and I got a really nice pic that my boyfriend just leaves of the field and the flag…he would like it framed with the ticket stubs so I thought I’d do it for him for Christmas. It’s so expensive to have it done though. Is there any do it yourself way I could try without spending a million bucks?

Wrong place to ask but your answer is simple. Most stores like Wal Mart etc, sell empty frames with the glass up to 11 x 8 I believe. They range in price from just a few $ to about $10 each in a variety of styles. I use these all the time. It only takes a few minutes to put together.

In Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, do you consider it cheating to a "cheat device" for event tickets?

Posted by admin on February 21st, 2010 and filed under event tickets | 3 Comments »

I got an action replay. But i’m not using it to max the levels or stats of my pokemon, or to catch all the legendaries in the beginning area. I’m using it to get event tickets so i can get to the other parts of the game i paid for! Do you consider that cheating to use an action replay to get the event ticket so i can actually go through the in game event rather than going to a real nintendo event for it? And yes in the event i catch them fairly by not using the 100% catch chance or master balls cheat.

    for me its not

Selling Entertainment Event Tickets in Illinois Without a License?

Posted by admin on February 19th, 2010 and filed under event tickets | 2 Comments »

According to Illinois law concerning the resale of tickets, tickets cannot be sold for more than face value (except by a ticket broker licensed by the state of Illinois). But my question now is that am I able to sell the tickets for the face value that I purchased them or do I have to sell them for a lower face value price?

    I’m in Illinois as well.

If you bought them from a ticket broker and I’m sure they were not bought for face value, I believe if you have a receipt for a detailed transaction for the tickets, this may work in your favor.

In turn, if you sold them for what you actually paid for them, with the proper receipt for verification, I think you would be fine.
