How to create an event on new Ipod Touch calendar?

I just got the new I-pod Touch and want to create an event on the calendar app it comes with. I had the old 3rd gen I-pod and there was a + sign at the top, but there isn’t one on my new ipod. I know they have the new Reminders app but is there any way to create an event so it will show up on the calendar?

I want to be able to create an event on the calendar that group members can then go edit. For example, our elementary school is having a fall festival. We need volunteers to sign up for one hour time slots on the calendar. Can I block off the time slot and then let members go in and put their name on the time slot they want to volunteer? If not, what is the best way to organize this information and allow members to edit it?

Of any web feature, members can only create/ edit what they created, they cant edit someone else’s. Only the owner has that ability. I think but am not for sure that they can enter info on database though, and the poll feature might work for what you want. people can ‘vote’ on the time slot they want, and if you select * Display voter identity with each vote, everyone will see who ‘voted’ for what time.

How do I update my Yahoo calendar event contact phone numbers?

The Yahoo calendar event contact numbers list is incorrect even though my Yahoo account contact numbers are correct. How can I delete the incorrect number from the calendar event contact list and add the right numbers?

Click on Calender….then select View Eventslist (by default it will be there). Then go to future events NOT in current month which you want to Edit (to change the contact number) for example if you want to correct this week then go to the same even which will come in January or February.

Correct the contact number and then on top under Apply Changes select ALL EVENTs and then save the changes…that’s all … You are Done.

When I try adding an event to Yahoo Calendar it gets stuck on saving?

I click on save for the event being added and it sticks on saving over and over and never adds it

It says it is saving but just sits and cranks with no error return or hint as to what is wrong. A calendar that won’t accept a simple event isn’t really a calendar is it? Help!

I have had the same problem for several days. Hate the improvements. The old calendar worked much better.

On my wife’s computer she cannot save a new or edited yahoo calendar event. Firefox is up to date. The same problem is encountered in IE. Disabling Add ons makes no difference.
My wife’s machine has 64 bit Win 7 Home Premium. My machine has 32 bit Win 7 Ultimate. Is the 64 bit the problem?

I need to find out what day I posted an event to my calendar. Not the event date itself, but the day I put it there.

Go to your calender and look at the posts option. What is exactly the calender? Electronic or a simple calender? If you posted an event, maybe you should check the entire calender and see where you posted an event.

Recently Yahoo Calendar began sending multiple reminders for each event. How can I fix this?

When I was moved over to the new Yahoo Calendar recently I began receiving 2 reminders for each event when I was only receiving 1 before. Today (June 1) I received 5 for each event. I have not made any changes to the settings. What can I do to stop the flood of reminders from filling my inbox and still be able to use all of my existing reminders?

I have exactly the same issue and I also can’t see calendar "ticker" at the bottom of my Yahoo! Mail. It’s very annoying.
